[ARCHIVED] Door-to-Door Lead Service Line Inspections Underway

As previously announced, our lead service project has started, and workers have begun door-to-door inspections of lead service lines for homes built in 1960 or earlier. This process is similar to how the census is conducted. If your home needs to be inspected, you likely received a postcard in the mail.

Our crews will be in the field Monday through Friday, typically working from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. On Thursdays and select other days throughout the summer and early fall, our crews will work as late as 7:00 pm. This work will continue until no later than October 15th.

If you prefer to make an appointment rather than wait for a knock at your door, you can email us at lead@briarcliffmanor.gov or call Zoiper Click2Dial914-810-0749GB. Alternatively, you can complete the survey yourself by visiting https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/LeadVBM8.

Below, you will find a photo of the team so you can recognize those who will be completing the majority of the work in the field.
