Board of Trustees

The Village Board of Trustees is the Village's elected legislative body. Composed of the Mayor and four Trustees, the Board also acts as the Board of Police Commissioners, the Board of Fire Commissioners, and the Moderate Income Housing Board. The Mayor appoints a Deputy Mayor from the Board to serve as Acting Mayor if necessary. The Mayor and/or Trustees also appoint the Village Manager, the Village Treasurer, the Village Clerk, and the Police officers of the Village.
