The Village of Briarcliff Manor maintains a policy of neutrality with respect to outside organizations. As such, the Village does not endorse or actively promote any organization with which it does not have one of the following:
Examples include, but are not limited to:
North East Special Recreation: The Village contracts with this organization to provide therapeutic recreation programs for Briarcliff residents.
Briarcliff Manor Chamber of Commerce: While the Village was formerly a member, promotion of events was limited to instances where the Village was a co-sponsor.
Sustainable Westchester: The Village is an active member and may promote relevant initiatives.
Partner Government Entities: The Village shares information from entities such as the Briarcliff Manor School District, Westchester County, the Town of Ossining, New York State agencies, or local elected New York State or County Representatives when the content is of broad community interest (e.g., school budget votes, transportation surveys, public health information, etc).
The Village does not use its official communications channels to promote organizations with which it does not have a formal relationship. In addition, the Village does not distribute commercial, partisan, or political messaging.
