Special Programs

  • Child Passenger Safety Program - An appointment-based program to have our certified Sergeant install a child safety seat in your vehicle.
  • Dark House Watch Program - Homeowners can alert the Police Department if they plan to be away for an extended period of time.
  • Fall Leaf Pickup Program - During the period of October 1 through December 31 (weather permitting) leaves may be placed next to the curb (not in the street) for collection by the Village of Briarcliff Manor Department of Public Works.
  • Helpsy Clothing Recycling Program - Briarcliff Manor has partnered with Helpsy to provide at home clothing recycling to residents.  Just sign up at https://www.helpsy.com/briarcliffmanorny, bag up your unwanted clothes, and Helpsy picks up from your front steps on collection day. 
  • Recycle Coach App - The Briarcliff Manor Department of Public Works brings you a free app called Recycle Coach.  This app offers direct access to your garbage and recycling schedules; a searchable directory explaining which items are recyclable and if not, how to dispose of them; and educational information on recycling for the whole family.
  • The Neighbors App Program - Our Police Department has joined Neighbors (a free app found both in Google Play and the iPhone App store) to connect with residents and improve the safety of our communities. The Briarcliff Manor Police Department can view what local residents have posted publicly to Neighbors and can now chime in with relevant updates or safety alerts to help residents stay informed.
