Architectural Review Advisory Committee
The Architectural Review Advisory Committee (ARAC) preserves and promotes the character and appearance of the Village by reviewing architectural features, design alternatives, external appearances, exterior lighting, landscaping, and signage to bolster the attractiveness of significant residential, commercial, and municipal areas.

Environmental Advisory Council
The Environmental Advisory Council advises the Board of Trustees on matters related to overall tree preservation, cultivation, and management of flora, indigenous plantings, trees, natural waters, and green spaces throughout the Village.

Ethics Board
The Board of Ethics renders advisory opinions, pursuant to the Ethics Law, to Village employees, officials, and consultants. The Board of Ethics established its meeting schedule on an ongoing basis.

Planning Board
The Planning Board is responsible for the review of site plans and subdivision applications and typically reviews larger development projects that might be subject to Special Permits.

Recreation Advisory Committee
Recreation Advisory Committee acts as a liaison between the community and the Village Parks and Recreation Department on programming, facilities, trends, and resident interests on all matters related to sports, recreation, parks, and outdoor fun.

Sustainability Advisory Committee
The Sustainability Committee makes recommendations to the Village Board of Trustees on matters related to sustainability, reduction of carbon footprint, recycling, reusable products and technologies, and reduction of waste products.

Zoning Board of Appeals
The Zoning Board of Appeals is a quasi-judicial board, assigned by NYS law to adjudicate grievances of decisions of the Village Building Department and to request a variance of the strict application of Village zoning laws.
